Clarence and I moved to the land we call "Perelandra" in 1973. This land now consists of forty-five acres of open fields and woods in the foothills of the Blue Ridge Mountains in Virginia (USA), and is both home for us and a nature research center. I head the center and the research. My research has been going on since 1976, when I began working with nature in a conscious, coordinated and educational effort. This has resulted in a new science called "co-creative science." Traditional science&emdash;commonly known as "contemporary science"&emdash;is man's study of reality and how it works. Co-creative science is the study of reality and how it works by man and nature (nature intelligence) working together in a partnership, as peers.

The co-creative science research at Perelandra focuses on three main areas: environment, health and soil-less gardens (i.e., business, home, the creative arts, special projects&emdash;all "gardens" that do not grow in soil). Perelandra's main laboratory is its 100-foot-diameter garden. It is here that I work with nature to get the information I need to create an inclusive environment based on nature's principles of balance. We do not use pesticides, herbicides, insecticides or chemical fertilizers, nor do we use any substance (natural or not) to kill or repel anything. Perelandra's garden laboratory operates according to nature's principles of balance, and it is this information on balance that I get from my nature partner. As a result of our work together, we have developed guidelines and procedures anyone may use to establish a balanced environment for such diverse areas as an apartment, a suburban home and yard, farm, forest and ranch.

These same principles of balance are the foundation for my research in the area of health. For example, one of the programs we have developed, the Microbial Balancing Program, addresses all infectious disease using the principles of balance. As a result, our health is restored without using antimicrobial medicines. And the microbes aren't forced to mutate into some super strain that's ten times more dangerous to us and our environment.

Nature's laws of balance apply equally to "gardens" that do not grow in soil. To understand how nature can consider such things as a classroom, business, professional practice and partnership, research lab, highway, home and family a garden, read "Nature's Definition of a Garden." Soil-less gardens are an exciting area of research in co-creative science, and many people have applied the principles, guidelines and processes we have developed at Perelandra in this area with tremendous and, sometimes, magical success. Since 1981, I have run the entire Perelandra business and outreach as a soil-less garden. Its development and growth have defied conventional expectations and have created a "garden" of phenomenal balance equal to that of the Perelandra garden that is growing in soil.

My job as a co-creative research scientist is to work in partnership with nature to discover reality and how it works&emdash;from nature's perspective. Together, nature and I then develop that knowledge into easy processes and programs that you can apply directly to your life&emdash;for you, your immediate environment and for your family. Everything that has been developed at Perelandra is self-help. It is all aimed so that anyone who wants to work directly with co-creative science solutions can do so. They can easily learn the programs and processes, and then turn right around and apply them to their lives. So, what's in it for you if you should bother learning any of this stuff? (After all, this is the question that really matters!) By using the programs and processes developed at Perelandra, you will have effective solutions for your health and environmental problems throughout the rest of your life&emdash;and you will have a far better quality of life. Now, that's not too shabby.
